Watch our support sessions....
Our change team are committed to ensuring that you are well supported and have all the information and tools you need to prepare, plan, and implement the changes ahead, so that your local scouting is even more enjoyable and easier for your leaders and supporters to take part.
To help you understand and move to our new ways of working, we are planning a series of Zoom calls and in person sessions to ensure you have all the information and support you need.
Each briefing has two sessions available to attend (although, as sessions happen they are removed!), you only need to attend one!
The individual sessions will cover the following topics…

This is a web page that explains our four steps to successful change management.

(put it into a scouting context and it provides some really helpful insight!)
We're moving from Executive Committees to Trustee Boards. But this isn’t just a name change it also changes the team’s purpose, responsibilities and how you will function and there is a need to make several changes to your group constitution.
This session will delve into our new teams structure for scout groups and provide an overview of the purpose and responsibilities of the new group leadership team. By the end of the session you will have all the information you need to plan and launch your Group Leadership Team and smoothly move your group to our new teams based approach.
Moving to team bases volunteering support pages
This interactive session will help you introduce welcome conversations in your group and provide some ideas about planning for successful adult recruitment into your new teams.

We are moving from adult training to volunteer learning and development. There's some learning that everyone needs to do and gaining a Wood Badge will be optional. This session will bring you up to speed on what we know so far on this new approach to learning.

To support our new ways of working we’ll have new digital tools for welcoming new team members, learning, and adult membership management. Everyone will be enabled by these easy-to-use digital tools which will help them develop their own experience and to deliver great programmes to young people.
Those in support teams will find it easier to run key processes, such as welcoming new volunteers, permits, awards and finding contact details for other volunteers. New volunteers will find signing up to join your team easy and efficient.
