Small Ships Race 2024

The Cowes Small Ships Race is organised by the Association for Sail Training Organisation, ASTO. It runs from Thursday 3rd October evening to Sunday 6th October afternoon, and includes a practice day Friday followed by the Race on Saturday (yes that means a day off school), and sailing home on Sunday. The boats moor in Cowes on Friday and Saturday night, and there is a big crew party Saturday evening.

This year we are extremely excited that South & South East London Scouts have teamed up with the Discovery Sailing Project to enter two yachts. Places will be limited, and will be open to Scouts / Explorers from across our county.
